NH Firearms Instruction
About NH Firearms Instruction Print

Ryan first got into defensive shooting as a Law Enforcement Explorer with the Enfield Explorer Post, where he met Scott Thompson. Through many training classes with the post, the NH Cadet Academy, and SigArms, Ryan fell in love with shooting sports. After leaving the post, Ryan continued shooting and training, even competing in IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association) events.

Ryan has been through many training classes in many disciplines, and has trained with instructors such as Scott Thompson, Randy Cain, Louis Awerbuck, Pat Rogers, and he has trained for years in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is currently a blue belt. Ryan has also trained in boxing, Judo, and Muay Thai kick-boxing, including spending a month in Thailand training full time. For 5 years Ryan and Scott Thompson have taught together at NH Firearms Instruction. Ryan is a certified NRA Instructor for basic-rifle and basic-pistol.

Currently Ryan is still training in Brazilian Ju-Juitsu (BJJ) and working on his instructor certification for Krav Maga, as well as becoming a training counselor for the NRA.
