Fence Construction Update Print

5/5:  I am told they will be working on clearing the brush from the grounds today and that heavy equipment will be on site.  It is anticipated that there will be a lot going on so while the range has not been officially close, yet, please bear that in mind and schedule accordingly.  The are scheduled to begin at 11:00 until ?

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________

The fence construction project has begun.  We are currently in the site prep phase which includes tree removal, land clearing, grading, etc.

Range is open again with limited operations.
Trees are on the ground in the North part of the firing lane so plan accordingly

While out clearing the way for the fence construction project, Don Avery left his flashlight out there somewhere.  It's a black Streamlight, 1000 lumens, about 6" long.  He would really like to get it back so if anyone comes across it, please let us know.

Range Use Print

Please note that the club range will be in use on Saturday, March 3rd, for a Tactical Pistol II class and will be closed to general member use for the entire day so please plan your shooting schedule accordingly.  As attendance at the Tactical Pistol I class was a prerequisite, the class is not open to new attendees.

Club Patch Sale Print

We are currently selling Enfield Outing Club patches to help raise funds for the wall construction for $15.  They are very well done, full color embroidered patches.  Color is a little more vibrant than pictured.  They measure approximately 4" high by 5" wide and are made to iron on (I would suggest a quick tack around the outside though just to make sure.)  We have a limited number available so get yours early!  If you would like to order, please let me know.

Thanks, Peg H. via

Property Plowing Print

We're not sure who recently plowed the clubhouse grounds but, while the thought is much appreciated, please know that we have someone under contract who handles that for us.  If someone plows on their own, it creates problems for the contractor.  As he doesn't appreciate the loss of that income, we end up paying him whether he plows or not.  We understand that you may want to utilize the range however, we ask that you please be patient and wait for him to plow.

If a club member would like to commit to doing that on a permanent basis, we would be more than happy to cancel our contract and put that money to better use.  If anyone is willing to do so, please let a board member know!
