EOC Memorial Brick Fundraiser Print

The Enfield Outing Club is holding a Memorial Brick Fundraiser.

Through this fundraising effort, the EOC is constructing a privacy wall to improve range safety, access to the range and onsite member parking. Future plans include the addition of a tree screen along the roadway frontage as well as modernizing clubhouse facilities with a recommissioned kitchen and new restroom. Efforts are also in the works to revitalize other activities such as archery, fishing and boating. You can help attain these goals and become a permanent part of this revitalization by purchasing a commemorative brick, which will be used to beautify the grounds around the flag monument. You can set your name or the name of a loved one in stone for years to come. Commemorate a special milestone or occasion, show appreciation and gratitude for someone who fought to protect the freedoms we as Americans enjoy everyday, or relay a favorite saying or quote. Bricks are available in two sizes to accommodate whatever you would like to convey. Bricks will be laid around the flagpole monument. Below is a sample of their work and our proposed location around flagpole.

First Women's Pistol Safety Course Print

Saturday, July 22nd, the EOC hosted its first Women's Basic Pistol 1 Course.  Women aged 14 and up came out to break the stigma and learn about the sport of shooting... including four generations in one family!  All enjoyed hands on class instruction including handgun and ammunition nomenclature, explanation as to the different types and pros and cons of different handguns, basic firearms safety and marksmanship fundamentals. As an attendee myself, I have to say it was very well done, extremely informative and a lot of fun.   In addition to having a lot of fun and learning a lot about handguns, it was exciting to find out that we have some very good beginning shooters!

A huge thank you goes out to our six absolutely wonderful member instructors!  Thank you RJ, Gene Dabrowski, Don Avery, Trever Cammett, Arthur Ruff and Aaron Whipple for making the class interesting, informative and safe.  Okay guys... we're ready for course number 2 if you are!

If anyone is interested in attending a similar class, please let me know and we will start a wait list for the next one.

You Lost... We Found? Print

Found a set of tiny keys this weekend at the range.  They were left on one of the shooting benches and look like they may belong to a gun case lock.  Please check to see if they might be yours.  If so, please let me know.  Peg 603-523-7677 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
